Robert Roth was a Swiss wrestler who won a gold medal in the freestyle heavyweight class at the 1920 Summer Olympics. Roth was a national champion in schwingen, Swiss national wrestling, in 1919 and 1921. Between 1922 and 1927 he competed as professional, but than returned to amateurs and won the national title in 1928 and 1931. His younger brothers Hans and Fritz were also Olympic wrestlers.

Geronimo Meynier is a retired film actor from Italy who starred in Italian cinema of the 1950s and early 1960s. He debuted in Amici per la pelle in 1955 at age 14. His last film was in 1968.

Yu Hasegawa is a Japanese footballer who plays for V-Varen Nagasaki.

Lin Li is a Chinese female volleyball player. She was part of the China women's national volleyball team that won the gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. At club level, she has played for Fujian Xi Meng Bao. Lin won the 2016 World Grand Prix Best Libero award.
