Naser Khader is a Syrian-Danish politician who is member of the Parliament of Denmark for the Conservative People's Party. A leading proponent of peaceful co-existence of democracy and Islam, he established a new movement, Moderate Muslims, when the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy began.

Christl Franziska Antonia Cranz-Borchers was a German alpine ski racer. Cranz dominated international competition in the 1930s, winning twelve world championship titles between 1934 and 1939. At the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, she won the combined competition.
