Małgorzata Zajączkowska, aka Margaret Sophie Stein, is a Polish actress and writer. Beginning in 1979, she acted on stage in the Teatr Narodowy. In 1981, Zajączkowska moved to the United States and, adopting the stage name Margaret Sophie Stein, continued her acting career in television and film. In 1999, Zajączkowska returned to Poland and continued acting there in films and television. She has also lectured at the Warsaw Film School.

Kurt Blome was a high-ranking Nazi scientist before and during World War II. He was the Deputy Reich Health Leader (Reichsgesundheitsführer) and Plenipotentiary for Cancer Research in the Reich Research Council. In his autobiography Arzt im Kampf, he equated medical and military power in their battle for life and death.

Benoît Payan is a French politician who has served as Mayor of Marseille since 2020. He is a member of the Socialist Party (PS).

William Pittenger was a Union Army soldier during the American Civil War. He was one of the first recipients of the Medal of Honor.

Alessandro Benvenuti is an Italian actor, film director and screenwriter. He was co-founder, together with Francesco Nuti and Athina Cenci, of the comedy ensemble "GianCattivi" with whom he achieved his first successes on stage and on television. He made his film debut in West of Paperino, for which he won the 1982 Silver Ribbon for Best New Director, therefore he started a critically appreciated career as director, screenwriter and actor of a set of original, offbeat comedies. In 1995 he won a second Silver Ribbon for the script of the film Belle al Bar. In 1996 he received three Globi d'oro nominations for his comedy drama film Ivo the Genius in the categories best film, best actor and best director.

Benjamin Frankel was a British composer. His best known pieces include a cycle of five string quartets, eight symphonies, and concertos for violin and viola. He was also notable for writing over 100 film scores and working as a big band arranger in the 1930s. During the last 15 years of his life, Frankel also developed his own style of 12-note composition which retained contact with tonality.

Alessandro Paganessi is an Italian racing cyclist. He won stage 20 of the 1983 Giro d'Italia.
