Alan Legge Gardner, 3rd Baron Gardner, was a British Whig politician.

Mary Eaton was an American stage actress, singer, and dancer in the 1910s and 1920s, probably best known today from her appearance in the first Marx Brothers film The Cocoanuts (1929). A professional performer since childhood, she enjoyed success in stage productions such as the Ziegfeld Follies. She appeared in another early sound film Glorifying the American Girl (1929). Her career declined sharply during the 1930s and a battle with alcoholism led to her death in October 1948 from cirrhosis at the age of 47.

Henry George "Gino" Watkins FRGS was a British Arctic explorer and nephew of Bolton Eyres-Monsell, 1st Viscount Monsell.

Halfdan Wedel Rasmussen was a Danish poet. He was known for his literary nonsense verse for children and his serious adult writings about social issues and human rights. He was awarded with the Ministry of Culture's children book prize in 1965.

Tofiq Bahramov, in England often referred to as "the Russian linesman", was a Soviet footballer and football referee from Azerbaijan.

Petra Thümer is a former swimmer from East Germany. She won gold medals in the 400 m and 800 m freestyle at the 1976 Summer Olympics and the 1977 European Aquatics Championships. During her career she set five world records in the 400 m and 800 m freestyle. In 1987 she was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame.

Joël Gallopin is a former French racing cyclist. He rode in four editions of the Tour de France between 1978 and 1981.
