Harrison became a football coach and worked at Everton before he was brought to Manchester United by Ron Atkinson in 1981 to manage the youth team. In 2019, she clinched the BWF World Tour title at the Super 300 New Zealand Open beat the 2012 Olympic gold medalists Li Xuerui of China in the final.
