Alex Salmond
Alexander Elliot Anderson Salmond is a Scottish politician who served as First Minister of Scotland from 2007 to 2014. He was the leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) for over 20 years, serving two terms, from 1990 to 2000 and from 2004 to 2014. He was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Banff and Buchan between 1987 and 2010, when he stood down to focus on his role as First Minister, and then for Gordon from 2015 to 2017, when he lost his seat to Scottish Conservative candidate Colin Clark. Salmond served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) from 1999 to 2001 and 2011 to 2016.

Sun Lijun is a former Chinese politician. He was investigated by the Chinese Communist Party's anti-graft agency in April 2020. Previously he served as Deputy Minister of Public Security and vice-president of the China Law Society. Prior to that, he served as director of the First Bureau of Ministry of Public Security, handling domestic political security. And he served as the ministry's director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office and a deputy director of the 610 Office, which was in charge of suppressing Falun Gong practitioners. Sun became the second official at provincial or ministerial level to be investigated by the anti-corruption watchdog in 2020, after Zhang Zhinan, former vice governor of east China's Fujian province.
