Jonathan Kenny is an Irish comedian and actor who lives in Lough Gur and is one half of the famous Irish comic duo d'Unbelievables with Pat Shortt. They were a very successful duo until 2000, releasing One Hell of a Video, D'Unbelievables, D'Video, D'Telly, D'Mother and D'collection but the group stopped touring after Kenny was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. He has since made a successful recovery and still performs shows across Ireland. Kenny is best known outside Ireland for appearing in the Channel 4 sitcom Father Ted. He also played the role of Monsieur Thénardier in the 1998 film version of Les Misérables.

David Lamelas is an Argentinian artist. A pioneer of Conceptual art, he was involved in Argentina's avant-garde scene in the 1960s. Well known for his sculptures and films, Lamelas lives and works between Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, and Europe.

Iain Sydie is a badminton player from Canada, who won the silver medal in the inaugural men's singles competition at the 1995 Pan American Games. He also took away a gold from that tournament. A resident of Calgary, Alberta, he represented Canada at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Together with his mixed doubles partner Denyse Julien, they become the first North American players to gain a top ten world ranking in February 1998.

Johan van der Velde is a former Dutch cyclist. In the 1980 Tour de France, he won the young rider classification, also placing 12th in the general classification that year. He had been a racing cyclist for only a year. In the 1981 Tour de France, he took first place on the second and 21st stages, finishing 12th overall for the second year. He rode with TI–Raleigh in the Tour de France from 1979 to 1983 and the Panasonic team where he won Stage 5 and wore the Yellow Jersey for two days in the 1986 Tour de France.

Cesar Enrique Aguinaldo Virata is a Filipino former politician and businessman who was the fourth Prime Minister of the Philippines from 1981 to 1986. He is currently corporate vice chairman of the Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation.
