Edimilson Fernandes Ribeiro is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Bundesliga club Mainz 05 and the Switzerland national team.

William Penn Adair (1830–1880) was a leader of the Cherokee Nation, an attorney who served in political office both before and after the American Civil War, and as a justice of their court. He entered the Confederate States Army on the promise that the Confederacy would support an Indian state if it won the war, and achieved the rank of colonel.

Very Rev Dr Alexander Duff, was a Christian missionary in India; where he played a large part in the development of higher education. He was a Moderator and Convenor of the Church of Scotland and an unashamed scientific liberal reformer of anglicized evangelism across the Empire. He was the first overseas missionary of the Church of Scotland to India. On 13 July 1830 he founded the General Assembly's Institution in Calcutta, now known as the Scottish Church College. He also played a part in establishing the University of Calcutta. He was twice Moderator of the Free Church of Scotland in 1851 and 1873, the only person to serve the role twice.

Wang Bit-na is a South Korean actress. She is best known for playing Bu-yong in the popular historical drama Hwang Jini.

Sayyid Hussein El-Husseini is a Lebanese politician and former speaker of the Lebanese parliament, whose efforts in brokering and fathering the Taif Agreement led to the end of the Lebanese Civil War in 1990. El-Husseini, as co-founder of the Amal Movement, is regarded as one of the founders of the Lebanese resistance. He succeeded Musa al-Sadr as leader of the Amal Movement, but resigned from his position in 1980 as he was opposed to Amal becoming increasingly more involved in the civil war.

Orhan Çıkırıkçı is a retired Turkish football (soccer) striker. He played for Çorluspor, Eskişehirspor, Trabzonspor (1989–1999) and Akçaabat Sebatspor.

Chen Qi is a retired male Chinese table tennis player. He won the gold medal in men's doubles at the 2004 Summer Olympics with Ma Lin, and is the youngest male ever to hold this title at age 20. In December 2013, Chen Qi announced his retirement and became the head coach of the Jiangsu provincial table tennis team.

Zhang Rongfang is a Chinese retired volleyball player and coach who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics. She was a member of the Chinese volleyball team which won the gold medal, having played in all five matches.
