Olavo Egídio Setúbal was a Brazilian industrialist, banker and politician. He was Mayor of São Paulo from 1975 to 1979, Minister of External Relations from 1985 to 1986, and chairman of the Itaúsa conglomerate from 2001 to his death in 2008.

Valéria Kumizaki is a Brazilian karateka. In 2016, she won the silver medal in the women's kumite 55 kg event at the 2016 World Karate Championships held in Linz, Austria. She is also a two-time gold medalist in her event at the Pan American Games.

Patricio Loustau is an Argentine football referee who officiated primarily in Primera División since 2009, as well as for FIFA as a FIFA international referee since 2011. His father, Juan Carlos Loustau, is a former football referee, who officiated in the 1990 FIFA World Cup, held in Italy.

Mohamed el-Qasabgi was an Egyptian musician and composer, and is regarded as one of the five leading composers of Egypt in the 20th century. Most of his credits went to Umm Kulthum, Asmahan, and Layla Murad who sang most of his great works and scores. Until today, most critics classify Mohamed El Qasabgi as the master of the oud due to his great abilities and skills which he had during his time.
