Li Lu is a Chinese-born American investor and hedge fund manager. He is the founder and Chairman of Himalaya Capital Management. He was one of the student leaders of the 1989 Tiananmen Square student protests, an experience he recounted in a 1990 book, Moving the Mountain: My Life in China, that was the basis of a 1994 documentary by Michael Apted.

Lia Marika Boysen is a Swedish actress. She has been married to Anders Ekborg and they have two daughters. In 2006 she received a Guldbagge Award for her role in the film Sök. She has also narrated audiobooks, among them Bedragen and Asyl and Gömda.

Michel Brunet is a French paleontologist and a professor at the Collège de France. In 2001 Brunet announced the discovery in Central Africa of the skull and jaw remains of a late Miocene hominid nicknamed Toumaï. These remains may predate the earliest previously known hominid remains, Lucy, by over three million years; however, this conclusion is the subject of a significant controversy.
