Abdel-Aziz bin Habtour is a Yemeni politician who served as Governor of Aden during the Houthi takeover in Yemen. He is a member of the General People's Congress, sitting on its permanent committee since 1995. An ally of President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, he condemned the 2014–15 Yemeni coup d'état and received the deposed leader after his flight from the Houthi-controlled capital of Sana'a on 21 February 2015. He is also a vocal opponent of the separatist movement in the former South Yemen, saying the movement is too fractured and small to achieve its goals.

Abdul Qadir Bajamal was a Yemeni politician who served as Prime Minister from March 31, 2001 to April 7, 2007. He was a member of the General People's Congress party and was appointed as Prime Minister by President Ali Abdullah Saleh. Previously he served as Foreign Minister from 1998 to 2001.

Sheikh Sadiq bin Abdullah bin Hussein bin Nasser al-Ahmar (Arabic: الشيخ صادق الأحمر‎; born 6 October 1956) is a Yemeni politician and the leader of the Hashid tribal federation. He succeeded his father Abdullah ibn Husayn al-Ahmar in these positions after Abdullah's death in 2007. He is best known for his role in the 2011 Yemeni uprising, in which fighters under his command attacked and seized government facilities in the Battle of Sana'a.

Ali Al-Nono is a retired Yemeni professional footballer who played as a striker. He was the captain of the Yemen national football team, and is the all-time highest goalscorer in the history of the Yemeni League.

Ayoob Tarish Absi is a Yemeni singer and musician from the area of Al-Aboos in the Ta'izz Governorate. Tarish composed "United Republic", the national anthem of Yemen, which was adopted following the Yemenite reunification.
