Daiki Kamikawa
Daiki Kamikawa is a Japanese judoka. He won the gold medal in the openweight division at the 2010 World Judo Championships by defeating Teddy Riner of France by a flags decision. Kamikawa is known for being a very technical judoka for a heavy weight and uses techniques such as harai goshi and uchi mata with frequency. He represented Japan at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Masateru Kaiketsu
Kaiketsu Masateru was a Japanese sumo wrestler, who reached the second highest rank of ōzeki on two occasions. He also won two top division tournament championships. After his retirement in 1979 he became a coach under the name of Hanaregoma-oyakata and established Hanaregoma stable. He was also chairman of the Japan Sumo Association from 2010 to 2012.

Shigeo Kamiyama was a Japanese communist. He was born in 1905 in Shimonoseki. In 1928, he joined the Japanese Communist Party.
