Baron Victor de Tornaco was a Luxembourg politician. An Orangist, he was the fourth Prime Minister of Luxembourg, serving for seven years, from 26 September 1860 until 3 December 1867.

Bernard Foccroulle is a Belgian organist, composer, conductor and opera director. He was born in Liège and studied at the Conservatoire de Liège. Initially, he became known as a member of the Ricercar Consort. He was president of the Jeunesses musicales, and in 1992, he was named director of the Théâtre royal de la Monnaie.

Michel Vermote is a former Belgian racing cyclist. He rode in ten Grand Tours between 1987 and 1996.

Dominique Pire, O.P. was a Belgian Dominican friar whose work helping refugees in post-World War II Europe saw him receive the Nobel Peace Prize in 1958. On 11 December 1958 Pire delivered his Nobel Lecture entitled "Brotherly Love: Foundation of Peace".

Jeanne Toussaint (1887–1976) was a Belgian-born French jeweller and fashion designer who exerted considerable influence on jewellery design after Louis Cartier appointed her Director of Fine Jewellery in 1933. She is remembered in particular for her panther designs which first appeared as a decoration for a Cartier watch in 1914 and became the theme of several creations for the Duchess of Windsor, including an onyx bracelet in 1952. Toussaint also specialized in creations inspired by the jewellery of the Moghuls and the Maharajas.
