Samuel Alejandro Sosa Cordero is a Venezuelan footballer who plays as a winger for Spanish club AD Alcorcón, on loan from Argentine club Talleres.

Pedro Francisco Carmona Estanga is a former Venezuelan business leader who was briefly installed as Acting President of Venezuela in place of Hugo Chávez, following the attempted military coup in April 2002. Relations between Venezuela and the United States government worsened in 2002, after the 2002 Venezuelan coup d'état attempt during which the U.S. government recognized the short-lived interim presidency of Pedro Carmona.

Maritza Sayalero Fernández is a Venezuelan designer, model, businesswoman and beauty queen. In 1979 she was crowned both Miss Venezuela and Miss Universe, the first woman from Venezuela to win this title. She is married to Mexican tennis player Raúl Ramírez, with whom she has lived in Mexico since 1981. For years she had a boutique where she sold items of her own design.

Guillermo Alejandro Moscoso is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers, Oakland Athletics, Colorado Rockies and San Francisco Giants.

Alfonso Carrasquel Colón, better known as Chico Carrasquel, was a Venezuelan professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a shortstop for the Chicago White Sox (1950–1955), Cleveland Indians (1956–1958), Kansas City Athletics (1958) and the Baltimore Orioles (1959). Carrasquel was the first in a long line of Major League shortstops from Venezuela including, Luis Aparicio, Dave Concepción, Ozzie Guillén and Omar Vizquel among others. He was notable for his excellent defensive abilities and for being the first Latin American in MLB history to start in an All-Star Game.

Rafael Eduardo Isea Romero is a Venezuelan politician, and Governor of Aragua State from 2008 to 2012. A graduate of the Venezuelan Military Academy (1989), he participated in Hugo Chávez' February 1992 Venezuelan coup d'état attempt. From 2001 to 2004 he was Venezuela's representative to the Inter-American Development Bank. In the 2005 parliamentary elections he was elected to the National Assembly of Venezuela. In 2007 he was named deputy Minister of Finance, and in 2008, Minister of Finance of Venezuela, before being elected Governor of Aragua in the 2008 regional elections, beating PODEMOS' Henry Rosales.

Due to his close relationship with the Venezuelan government, he is currently subjected to US sanctions over a corruption scheme involving bribery payments to Chávez-era government ministers. In November 2019, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) added Raúl Gorrín to the ICE Most Wanted List accused of money laundering.
