Luca Barbareschi is an Italian-Uruguayan actor, television presenter, and former member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies. Barbareschi is Jewish.

Fabricio Ferrari Barcelo is a Uruguayan cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team Taiyuan Miogee Cycling Team. He rode in the 2013 Vuelta a España, finishing in 121st place.

Juan Figer Svirski is an Uruguayan-Brazilian football agent. His organisation, MJF Publicidade e Promoções S/C Ltda, represent, amongst others, Brazilian footballers Robinho, Júlio Baptista, Alex, Zé Roberto, and Europeans Luís Figo and Marcos Senna. He is co-owner of the firm with Wagner Ribeiro.

César Charlone is a Uruguayan film director, screenwriter, actor and cinematographer. He was born in Montevideo but lives in Brazil. In 2003, he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography for his work on the highly acclaimed film City of God. On 2007, he directed his first feature film, The Pope's Toilet, which was selected by Uruguay as its official submission for the 80th Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. A year earlier, he was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Carlos Ott is a Uruguayan architect who resides in Canada and many other countries. He became famous when he won his first prize in 1983 for the construction of the Opéra Bastille in Paris, which was inaugurated on July 14, 1989. He has offices in Toronto, Quebec, Shanghai, Dubai and Montevideo.
