Lee Si-Chen
Lee Si-chen, is a Taiwanese engineer specializing in semiconductors, a researcher in amorphous silicon in the early development in Taiwan, and an IEEE Fellow. He has been a professor of electrical engineering since 1982 and the president of National Taiwan University from 2005 to 2013.
Lin Tzu-chi
Lin Tzu-chi is a Taiwanese weightlifter. She was to appear at the 2010 Asian Games, but was suspended from competition due to a positive drug test. Lin was banned until 2012. At the 2014 Asian Games, she set a world record in women's 63 kg, with a lift of 261 kg. She also set the clean and jerk record for her weight class, at 145 kg. The government of Taiwan awarded her NT$3 million for this accomplishment. Lin was suspended from the 2016 Summer Olympics due to another positive drug test result. The Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled in November 2018, after an appeal by the World Anti-Doping Agency, that Lin was to serve an eight-year suspension, and additionally vacated all weightlifting medals, prizes and points earned by Lin after 24 June 2016.
Chen Chi-nan
Chen Chi-nan is a Taiwanese anthropologist. He led the Council of Cultural Affairs from 2004 to 2006. He was named Director of National Palace Museum in 2018 and served until 2019.
Tsung-Hsien Chang
Jet Chang is a Taiwanese professional basketball player. A former player for the BYU–Hawaii Seasiders in Hawaii, United States, he led the Seasiders to a runner-up finish in the 2011 NCAA Division II tournament, in which he was named Most Outstanding Player. Chang also plays for the Chinese Taipei national basketball team and made his national team debut at the 2009 FIBA Asia Championship.

Yuri Huang formerly known as Huang Yuzhu and Huang Yian, and known by her stage name Yao Yao, is a female singer, actress and model. She was born in Xinwu District, Taoyuan, Taiwan, and graduated from the School of Home Economics Chungli, Taoyan. Huang was a member of the girl group "Hey Girl" and debuted on 3 October 2005.
Lin Hsin-i
Lin Hsin-i is a Taiwanese businessman. He served in the Democratic Progressive Party administration as Minister of Economic Affairs between 2000 and 2002, then as Vice Premier between 2002 and 2004.
Hsu Feng
Hsu Feng is a Taiwanese-born actress and film producer. In the 1970s she was one of the leading actresses of the cinemas of Hong Kong and Taiwan, particularly for her roles in wuxia films and her work with director King Hu. In 1981 she retired from her career as an actress, but a few years later she returned to the film industry as a producer and went on to produce several award-winning movies. Among them was Chen Kaige's Farewell My Concubine, which won the Palme d'Or (1993) and the BAFTA Award for Best Film not in the English Language (1994) and was nominated for an Academy Award and a César for best foreign film as well.
