Ignacio Ramonet Miguez is a Spanish academic, journalist and writer who has been based in Paris for much of his career. After becoming first known for writing on film and media, he became editor-in-chief of Le Monde diplomatique, serving from 1991 until March 2008. Under his leadership, LMD established editorial independence in 1996 from Le Monde, with which it had been affiliated since 1954.

Sergio Gutiérrez Prieto is a Spanish politician of the Spanish Socialist Workers Party serving as Member of the Congress of Deputies since 2019. He also chairs the Committee on Foreign Affairs. Previously, he has served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2010 to 2019.

Ada Parellada i Garrell is a Spanish cook who inspired the "Semproniana" restaurant in Barcelona. She owns three restaurants, publishes books and she has been given the Creu de Sant Jordi for her restoration work.
