Heyneke Meyer is a rugby union coach, best known for coaching the Springboks from 2012 until 2015. Prior to coaching the Springboks, he spent many years at the domestic level in South Africa before coaching Leicester Tigers in England. Following his stint with the Boks, he also coached Stade Français.

Gavin Hood is a South African filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, and actor, best known for writing and directing Tsotsi (2005), which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. He also directed the films X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Ender's Game, Eye in the Sky and most recently, Official Secrets.

Patricia de Lille is a South African politician who is the current Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure and leader of the political party Good. She was previously Mayor of Cape Town from 2011 to 2018, and Western Cape Provincial Minister of Social Development from 2010 to 2011. She founded and led the Independent Democrats (ID), a political party which she formed in 2003 during a floor-crossing window, after she broke away from the Pan Africanist Congress (PAC). In August 2010, the ID merged with the Democratic Alliance, South Africa's official opposition, and the party was officially dissolved in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, she was Provincial Leader of the Democratic Alliance in the Western Cape.

Ashleigh Moolman Pasio is a South African professional female road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam SD Worx. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Women's road race, finishing 16th and in the Women's time trial finishing 24th.

Noxolo Kiviet is a South African politician, and the Premier of the Eastern Cape from 2009 to 2014. She is the former speaker of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature. She is also a member of the African National Congress. In June 2012 Kiviet was rated as the worst performing provincial premier by the South African Public Service Commission.

Hazel Gertrude Jenkins is a South African politician and former Premier of the Northern Cape province. She served as Premier from May 2009 until she officially stood down in April 2013, following a stroke. The motion to recognise her stepping down as Premier was defeated in a vote by the legislature on 30 April 2013 so that technically Jenkins remained Premier. Hence Sylvia Lucas was sworn in on 30 April not as Jenkins' successor but as Acting Premier. Jenkins subsequently resigned, as of 22 May 2013, paving the way for Lucas to be sworn in as her successoron 23 May 2013.

Allister Coetzee is a South African rugby union coach and former player, currently in charge of Japanese Top League side Canon Eagles. He served as the head coach of the South African national team from April 2016 to February 2018.

Andries Malan is a South African badminton player. In 2014, he competed at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. In 2015, he won double titles at the All-Africa Games by winning men's and mixed doubles event.

Presley Chweneyagae is a South African actor of Tswana origin. He starred in the film Tsotsi, which won the Academy Award for Foreign Language Film at the 78th Academy Awards. His mother, Agnes Keagile named him after her favourite singer, Elvis Presley. Although he had acted before in plays, Tsotsi was his first feature film. His most recent role is on the South African telenovela, The River as Thuso "Cobra" Mokoena.

Johannes Nicolaas 'Johan' Ackermann is a South African rugby union coach and former player. He played as a lock during his playing career between 1995 and 2007. He is currently head coach at Red Hurricanes.
