Ethan Daniel Van Sciver is an American comics artist and social media personality. He is known for illustrating or drawing covers for a number of superhero titles in the 2000s, primarily for DC Comics, including Green Lantern and The Flash: Rebirth, and New X-Men for Marvel Comics. In the late 2010s he became known for his "ComicArtistPro Secrets" channel on YouTube, through which he became a central figure in Comicsgate.

Ricardo A. M. R. Reis is a Portuguese economist and the A. W. Phillips professor of economics at the London School of Economics. In a 2013 ranking of young economists by Glenn Ellison, Reis was considered the top economist with a PhD between 1996 and 2004., and in 2016 he won the Germán Bernácer Prize for top European-born economist researching macroeconomics and finance. He writes a weekly op-ed for the Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Notícias and participates frequently in economic debates in Portugal.

Clark Johnson, sometimes credited as Clark "Slappy" Jackson, Clarque Johnson, and J. Clark Johnson, is an American-Canadian actor and director who has worked in both television and film.

Luis Cernuda Bidón was a Spanish poet, a member of the Generation of '27. During the Spanish Civil War, in early 1938, he went to the UK to deliver some lectures and this became the start of an exile that lasted till the end of his life. He taught in the universities of Glasgow and Cambridge before moving in 1947 to the US. In the 1950s he moved to Mexico. While he continued to write poetry, he also published wide-ranging books of critical essays, covering French, English and German as well as Spanish literature. He was frank about his homosexuality at a time when this was problematic and became something of a role model for this in Spain. His collected poems were published under the title La realidad y el deseo.

Hitomi Nakamichi is a Japanese volleyball player who plays for Toray Arrows. She has served as captain of the team since 2013. She was also part of the Japanese team that won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Kaija Kärkinen is a Finnish singer and actress. She represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1991, with the song "Hullu yö", finishing 20th.

Urs Lüthi is a Swiss conceptual artist who attended the School of Applied Arts in Zurich. Noted for using his body and alter ego as the subject of his artworks, he has worked in photography, sculpture, performance, silk-screen, video and painting. Since 1994, Lüthi has worked as university professor in Kassel, Germany and in 2009 Kassel gave Lüthi the Arnold Bode award.
