Bernardo Neustadt was an Argentinian journalist born in Romania. For 30 years he was the TV host of the famous New Time news program.

Irina-Camelia Begu is a Romanian professional tennis player. She reached a career-high singles ranking of No. 22 in the world, in August 2016. Two years later, she reached her highest WTA doubles ranking, also 22. Begu has won four singles titles and nine doubles titles on the WTA Tour. She also has won one singles title on the WTA 125K series, as well as, 12 singles and 19 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit.

Adrian Dante Ursea is a Romanian professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of Ligue 1 club OGC Nice.

Rezső Kasztner, also known as Rudolf Israel Kastner, was a Hungarian-Israeli journalist and lawyer who became known for having helped Jews escape from occupied Europe during the Holocaust. He was assassinated in 1957 after an Israeli court accused him of having collaborated with the Nazis.

Günther Bosch is a Romanian-German former tennis player and today's tennis coach. He was the national coach of the DTB for the youngsters and became known as the personal trainer of Boris Becker at his first Wimbledon victory in 1985.

Egon Balas was an applied mathematician and a professor of industrial administration and applied mathematics at Carnegie Mellon University. He was the Thomas Lord Professor of Operations Research at Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business and did fundamental work in developing integer and disjunctive programming.

Bernard Natan was a Franco-Romanian film entrepreneur, director and actor of the 1920s and 1930s. He was once said by historians to be one of the earliest pornographic film directors and pornographic film actors, although there is now considerable doubt about this. Natan certainly worked in mainstream cinema from his youngest days, working his way up from projectionist and chemist to cinematographer and producer. He eventually acquired the giant French motion picture studio Pathé in 1929. Pathé collapsed in 1935, and Natan was convicted of fraud. However, he laid the foundation for the modern film industry in France and helped revolutionize film technology around the world. Natan died after being transported to Auschwitz concentration camp.

Géza Szőcs was an ethnic Hungarian poet and politician from Transylvania, Romania, who served as Secretary of State for Culture of the Ministry of National Resources in Hungary from 2 June 2010 to 13 June 2012.

Iorgu Constantin Albulescu, known professionally as Mircea Albulescu, was a Romanian actor, university professor, journalist, poet, writer, and member of the Writers' Union of Romania. He was born as Iorgu Constantin V. Albulescu, in Bucharest, on 4 October 1934. He graduated from the Secondary School of Architecture in 1952, and in 1956 he graduated from the Institute of Theatrical and Cinematographic Art in Bucharest. He received a star on the Romanian Walk of Fame in Bucharest on 29 October 2011.
