Malik Mumtaz Hussain Qadri, better known as Mumtaz Qadri, was the assassin of Salmaan Taseer, Governor of Punjab. Qadri was a commando of the Elite Police and, at the time of the assassination, a member of the squad of personal bodyguards assigned to protect Salmaan Taseer. A follower of the Barelvi version of Sunni Islam, he assassinated Taseer on 4 January 2011. He claimed to have killed the Governor because Taseer spoke in defense of Asia Bibi, a Pakistani Christian woman convicted of blasphemy and sentenced to death. Qadri was convicted by the Islamabad High Court, sentenced to death and hanged in February 2016.

Mawaan Rizwan is a Pakistani-born British actor, writer and comedian who began his career as a YouTuber.

Shoaib Akhtar is a Pakistani former cricketer, commentator and YouTuber. He is recognised as the fastest bowler in the history of international cricket, having bowled a delivery at 161.3 km/h, in a ODI against England – a pool match during the 2003 Cricket World Cup. Akhtar was nicknamed "Rawalpindi Express", in reference to his speed and hometown, and "Tiger". He was also the first bowler to be recorded bowling at 100 miles per hour, and did so twice in his career.

Haris Sohail is a Pakistani cricketer born in Sialkot, Pakistan. He is a left-handed batsman who bowls left-arm orthodox. He has represented Sialkot Stallions, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited cricket team, Sialkot cricket team and Peshawar Zalmi. He currently plays for Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League. He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team in July 2013. In August 2018, he was one of thirty-three players to be awarded a central contract for the 2018–19 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Maharaja Ranjit Singh, popularly known as Sher-e-Punjab or "Lion of Punjab", was the leader of the Sikh Empire, which ruled the northwest Indian subcontinent in the early half of the 19th century. He survived smallpox in infancy but lost sight in his left eye. He fought his first battle alongside his father at age 10. After his father died, he fought several wars to expel the Afghans in his teenage years and was proclaimed as the "Maharaja of Punjab" at age 21. His empire grew in the Punjab region under his leadership through 1839.

Hina Rabbani Khar is a Pakistani politician who served as the 21st Foreign Minister of Pakistan from February 2011 until March 2013. Appointed at the age of 33, she was the youngest person and the first woman to have held the position.

Abdul Khaliq (Subedar Abdul Khaliq, Parinda e Asia) was a Pakistani sprinter from 8 Medium Regiment Artillery who won 36 international gold medals, 15 international silver medals, and 12 International bronze medals for Pakistan. He competed in the 100m, 200m and 4 x 100 metres relay. He participated in the 1956 Melbourne Olympics and the 1960 Rome Olympics. He also participated in the 1954 Asian Games and the 1958 Asian Games. He was born in the village of Jand Awan in Chakwal, Punjab, now in Pakistan, and died on 10 March 1988 in Rawalpindi.

Mukhtaran Bibi is a Pakistani woman from the village of Meerwala, in the rural tehsil (county) of Jatoi of the Muzaffargarh District of Pakistan. In June 2002, Mukhtār Mā'ī was the survivor of a gang rape as a form of honour revenge, on the orders of a tribal council of the local Mastoi Baloch clan that was richer and more powerful than her Tatla clan in that region.
