Mei Lanfang
Mei Lan, better known by his stage name Mei Lanfang, was a notable Peking opera artist in modern Chinese theater. Mei was known as "Queen of Peking Opera". Mei was exclusively known for his female lead roles (dan) and particularly his "verdant-robed girls" (qingyi), young or middle-aged women of grace and refinement. He was considered one of the "Four Great Dan", along with Shang Xiaoyun, Cheng Yanqiu, and Xun Huisheng.
Li Yonghong
Li Yonghong is a Chinese businessman who first came into the public eye in 2016 when he succeeded Silvio Berlusconi as the owner of the Italian football club A.C. Milan. Li is also known for his stock market transactions in mainland China.
Ye Zhaoying
Ye Zhaoying is a retired badminton player from Hangzhou, China. Officially ranked as the number one women's singles player in the world for the first time in December 1995, she lost and regained that ranking several times during her career. Her best years as a player overlapped those of the slightly older Susi Susanti and Bang Soo-hyun, in what some see as a "golden" era in women's badminton.
Li Yuchun
Li Yuchun, better known by her stage name Chris Lee, is a Chinese singer, songwriter, DJ and actress. She debuted her singing career by winning the champion at the Chinese singing contest Super Girl in 2005. The next year she released her debut album The Queen and the Dreams. Referred to as the mother of the unisex look in China, she has achieved success in China. She is also known for her lower mezzo-soprano vocal range, a rarity amongst Mainland Chinese female singers.

Zhang Qianfan
Zhang Qianfan is a constitutional law professor at Peking University Law School, and an activist who advocates constitutionalism in China and has called for China's general political and judicial reform. He is the author of several hundreds academic publications. His book Constitutional System in the West helped introduce western constitutionalism in Chinese. His book The Constitution of China: A Contextual Analysis was published in the United States in 2012.

Zhang Yang
Zhang Yang was a general in the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) who served as Director of the Political Work Department. He was previously political commissar of the Guangzhou Military Region. He committed suicide in November 2017 when under disciplinary investigation.
Lau Chin-shek
Lau Chin-shek is the President of the Hong Kong Confederation of Trade Unions and a vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Christian Industrial Committee. He was born in Guangzhou and had a secondary school education. He was a member of the Legislative Council from 1991 to 2008.
