Fu Xiaotian is the presenter and producer of Talk with World Leaders. She is a recipient of the Order of the Star of Italy. Xiaotian worked in London when she first joined Phoenix TV, taking on the roles of Chief Correspondent and Bureau Chief. In 2011, she journeyed twice to Libya as a wartime reporter. The following year, she transferred to Phoenix TV’s Hong Kong headquarters, where she worked as a Senior Reporter, covering major political events internationally.

Tang Qunying was the first female member of the Tongmenghui, a secret society and underground resistance movement founded in Tokyo, Japan by Sun Yat-sen and Song Jiaoren in 1905. Tang has been cited as one of the "best-known women activists in modern Chinese history".

Liu Buchan was a naval officer of the Beiyang Fleet, the most prominent of China's naval units in the late Qing Dynasty. He is best remembered for his actions as commander of the fleet flagship, the Dingyuan, during the First Sino-Japanese War. After his death and the ship being destroyed at the end of the war, he was raised to national hero status in modern China. At his death, Liu was commander of the fleet flagship, with the rank Admiral of the Right, and reserve Admiral of the Fleet.

Li Kenong was a Chinese general and politician, one of the creators of the security and intelligence apparatus of both the Communist Party of China and the People's Liberation Army. Notably, he served as Director of the Central Investigation Department, Deputy Chief of the PLA General Staff Department and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and was awarded the rank of General in 1955.

He spent much of his career in Shanghai, especially in the automobile industry. He has also served as the chief executive of the state-owned China South Industries Group and head of the China National Space Administration.

Xu Jie courtesy name Zisheng (子昇), was a Chinese politician of the Ming dynasty. He was demolished by the emperor who took the suggestion from Zhang Cong and later came back into the capital by the help of Xia Yan, the successor of Zhang Cong. Xu Jie spent over 20 years in the Grand Secretariat and held the position of Chief Grand Secretary about 6 years. One of the most well-known political conflicts during his time was his opposition to the former Senior Grand Secretary, Yan Song. Xu Jie eventually took over the cabinet by the 42nd year Jia Jing Emperor was in reign. In the later period of his political life, Xu Jie tried to improve the efficiency of the Ming cabinet, and in doing so, he provided patronage to many politicians who would become influential in Ming politics.
