Zhang Xun, courtesy name Shaoxuan, was a Qing loyalist general who attempted to restore the abdicated emperor Puyi in the Manchu Restoration of 1917. He also supported Yuan Shikai during his time as president.

Bu Shang, commonly known by his courtesy name Zixia or as Buzi, was an ancient Chinese philosopher and a prominent disciple of Confucius who was considered one of the most accomplished in cultural learning. He was one of the five disciples who took chief responsibility for the transmission of Confucius' teachings. He played a significant role in the transmission of such classics as the Book of Poetry and the I Ching. He established his own school, and taught Marquess Wen of Wei, ruler of Wei, the most powerful state of the early Warring States period.

Mao Ning is a Chinese singer best known for his pop numbers The Waves Remain, Late Autumn, and The Blue Night and Blue Dream. Mao Ning had many partners, such as Chen Hong, Yang Yuying and Lin Ping. Many people called Mao and Yang "The cutest boy and girl" (金童玉女).

Willie Fung was a Chinese film actor who played supporting roles in 125 American films between 1922 and 1944. Born in Canton, China, Fung made his film debut in 1922 in Hurricane's Gal. The majority of his roles were in Westerns and dramas. Fung died of a coronary occlusion in Los Angeles on 16 April 1945 at the age of 49. He is buried in Angelus-Rosedale Cemetery in Los Angeles.

Zhou Ziqi was a Chinese educator and politician in the late Qing dynasty and early republican period. During the early part of the Republic, he served multiple roles: first in multiple ministry positions,, as a diplomat, then as acting President of the Republic, and, for a time, as acting Premier in 1922, during Liang Shiyi's illness. He was a member of the Communications Clique.

Guo Jinlong is a Chinese politician, currently serving as the Vice Chairman of the Central Guidance Commission on Building Spiritual Civilization, and a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China. Between 2008 and 2012 Guo served as the Mayor of Beijing, and Communist Party Secretary of Beijing between 2012 and 2017. As the Mayor of Beijing during the 2008 Olympics, Guo served as the executive chairman of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG).

Lou Tseng-Tsiang or Lu Zhengxiang was a Chinese diplomat and a Roman Catholic monk. He was twice Premier of the Republic of China and led his country's delegation at the Paris Peace Conference of 1919. He sometimes used the French name René Lou in earlier life, and his monastic name was Pierre-Célestin, O.S.B..

Hu Hanmin was one of the early conservative right factional leaders in the Kuomintang (KMT) during revolutionary China.
