Yun Guangzhong is a former Chinese politician who spent his entire career in north China's Inner Mongolia. He is of Mongol descent. As of June 2019 he was under investigation by China's top anti-corruption agency. Previously he served as party chief of the capital city Hohhot. Prior to that, he was vice-chairman of the Inner Mongolia between 2014 and 2017, party chief of Ordos City between 2011 and 2014, mayor of Ordos between 2008 and 2011, party chief of Manzhouli between 2006 and 2008, and mayor of Manzhouli between 2004 and 2006.

Wu Tianming was a Chinese film director and producer who was considered one of the leading "Fourth Generation" directors.

Wu Changshun is the former police chief of the municipality of Tianjin, China. Wu is also an inventor, and has 35 patents and utility models to his credit. Wu spent 44 years working for the Tianjin Public Security Bureau and was the chief of the police force for some eleven years. Wu was dismissed from office in July 2014, and was placed under investigation by the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency. He was expelled from the party in February 2015.

Grace Gua Ah-leh is a Taiwanese actress and singer. Gua has portrayed over 200 roles in film and television since 1965. She has won the Golden Horse Awards 4 times and the Golden Bell Awards twice.

Luo Yin, born Luo Heng, was a poet of the late Tang and early Wuyue dynasties. Luo was said to be very handsome and humble.

Kong Xuanyou, or Gong Hyeon-U in Korean, is a Chinese diplomat and the current Ambassador to Japan. He is responsible of Asian affairs, treaty and law, land and sea boundaries and other affairs related to consulates.

Shih-Ying Lee or S. Y. Lee was an American aerodynamicist, businessman, inventor, and mechanical engineer who was noted for his research and innovation in hydrodynamics-related technologies. He was also an Professor Emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Wei Ping-ao, also known as Paul Wei, was a Hong Kong-based Chinese actor who started his career in the Shaw Brothers Studio. He is best known for playing cunning interpreters in Bruce Lee's 1972 films Fist of Fury and Way of the Dragon, in which he dubbed his own voice, and also appeared in films such as Deaf Mute Heroine (1971), Hapkido (1972) and Fists of Bruce Lee (1978). He suffered from jaundice in his later years. He died on 3 December 1989 in British Hong Kong.
