Du Feng,, is a retired Chinese professional basketball player and current head coach of his longtime club, the Guangdong Southern Tigers. At a height of 2.07 meters, and a weight of 100 kilograms, he played as a power forward-center.

Sun Huaishan is a former Chinese politician who served as the Director of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He was investigated in March 2017 by the Communist Party's anti-graft agency, suspected of corruption.

Du Qinglin is a politician of the People's Republic of China. He formerly serves as vice chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and a Secretary of the Secretariat of the Central Committee. From 2007 and 2012 he served as the director of United Front Work Department of Communist Party of China.

Li Liguo is a Chinese politician. He served as the Minister of Civil Affairs between 2010 and 2016, and formerly served as Deputy Communist Party Secretary of the Tibet Autonomous Region, among other roles. He was investigated by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection in late 2016, was assigned responsibility for corruption at the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and stripped of his post as minister. His party membership was put on two-year probation.

Yao Zhe was a People's Liberation Army lieutenant general. He was born in Shaoyang County, Hunan Province. Yao joined the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army in July 1928 and the Communist Party of China in 1929. He fought alongside Liu Zhidan in the Chinese Civil War. During the Second Sino-Japanese War, he was active in Daqing Mountain as part of the Shanxi-Chahar Province-Hebei. He participated in the Datong-Jining Campaign against Fu Zuoyi.

Huang Qiushuang, born on 28 May 1992, is a Chinese gymnast. She is an individual all-arounder known for her clean form and artistry. She was a part of the Chinese team for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
