Chai Jing is a Chinese journalist, former television host, author and environmental activist.

Jenny Tseng is a singer, actress and producer from Macau. She is mostly known in Cantonese-speaking regions, and she has been based in Hong Kong for much of her career. Tseng was one of the most popular female singers in Hong Kong during "the Golden Age of Music". Her career has spanned four decades, and she is one of the most successful "canto-pop singers", having released over 130 albums and sold over 10 million records worldwide.

Lou Ye, born 1965, is a Chinese screenwriter-director who is commonly grouped with the "Sixth Generation" directors of Chinese cinema.

Crystal Chow Ching is a former Hong Kong activist. She was the vice-chairman of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Students' Union from 2008 to 2009 and the secretary-general of the Hong Kong Federation of Students from 2009 to 2010. She ran in the 2010 Hong Kong by-election as the candidate of Tertiary 2012 in support of the Five Constituencies Referendum.

Professor Leonard Cheng Kwok-Hon, BBS, JP is the current president of the Lingnan University of Hong Kong. Before that he was appointed Dean of the School of Business and Management of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2009 to 2013.

Shanshan Feng is a Chinese professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. She is the first player from China to become a member of the LPGA Tour, which she joined in 2008. Feng has 10 victories on the tour, including the 2012 LPGA Championship, a major title, in which she shot a bogey-free 67 in the final round to win by two strokes. She is the first player from China to win an LPGA major championship, as well as the first player from mainland China to win a major championship. Her best finish in 16 previous majors was a tie for 22nd at the 2012 Kraft Nabisco Championship. With the victory, she moved from tenth to fifth in the Women's World Golf Rankings. On 20 August 2016, Feng won the Olympic bronze medal in women's golf at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. From November 2017 to April 2018, she was first in the Women's World Golf Rankings.

Clifton Ko is a Hong Kong film director, actor, producer and scriptwriter. He graduated from Kwun Tong Maryknoll College, and entered TV and film industry in late 1970s, firstly worked with director Clifford Choi. In this period he wrote Choi's No U-Turn (1981) and Teenage Dreamers, and John Woo's comedy Once a Thief. In 1982 Ko entered Raymond Wong's the newly founded Cinema City & Films Co., and directed his first film The Happy Ghost in 1984. The film series, like all his major works, is a slapstick comedy with moral teaching, family value, and optimism. Ko, together the company, is prolific in making "Chinese New Year movies". Important titles include family comedy series It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World ; Chicken and Duck Talk, a collaboration with comedian/writer Michael Hui; and ensemble comedy series All's Well, Ends Well ; and It's a Wonderful Life (1994) (Stokes).

Tao Yuanming (365–427), also known as Tao Qian or T'ao Ch'ien (Wade-Giles), was a Chinese poet who was born during the Eastern Jin dynasty (317-420) and died during the Liu Song (420-479) dynasty. Tao is a major poet of the Six Dynasties period. Tao Yuanming spent much of his life in reclusion, living in the countryside, farming, reading, drinking wine, receiving the occasional guest, and writing poems in which he often reflected on the pleasures and difficulties of life, as well as his decision to withdraw from civil service. Tao's simple and direct style was somewhat at odds with the norms for literary writing in his time. Relatively well-known as a recluse poet in the Tang dynasty (618-907), during the Northern Song dynasty (960-1127), influential literati figures such as Su Shi (1037-1101) declared him a paragon of authenticity and spontaneity in poetry, that Tao Yuanming would achieve lasting literary fame. However, Tao Yuanming's inclusion in the 6th century literary anthology Wen Xuan argues for at least a beginning of fame in his own era, at least in his own birth area. Tao Yuanming would later be regarded as the foremost representative of what we now know as Fields and Gardens poetry. Tao Yuanming found inspiration in the beauty and serenity of the natural world close at hand.

Zhu Zhengting is a Chinese singer and actor. He took part in the Korean talent show Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017, and debuted as a member of limited boy band Nine Percent on April 6, 2018 through the Chinese talent show Idol Producer. He is currently the leader and main dancer of Yuehua's NEXT.

Jiang Yingrong, also known as Vivi Jiang, is a Chinese singer. She studied at Beijing Contemporary Music Academy (北京现代音乐学院) and majored in pop music. She attended many competitions and got many awards, such as the top 4 and the most potential singer in Yili College Students Music Festival (伊利全国大学生音乐节).
