Lu Wei is a former Chinese politician. He served as the deputy head of the Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China, the head of the General Office of the Central Leading Group for Internet Security and Informatization from April 2013 to June 2016. Lu was previously Vice-Mayor of Beijing and the head of the Beijing Party organization's propaganda department, among other posts. Lu Wei was named by Time magazine as one of the world's 100 most influential people in 2015.

Michelle Bai is a Chinese actress and singer.

Lily Chan, a Chinese singer in Hong Kong. She was born and grew up in Guangzhou. Chan's musical talent was discovered by her choir teacher. By age 10, Chan started recording in the studio and has won numerous singing awards including Champion of the National Children's New Song Competition, the gold prize for solo song in the Guangzhhou Children's Art Flower Show etc.

Qin Gang is a Chinese diplomat currently serving as Vice Minister of foreign affairs of China. He is also the twenty-second spokesperson since the spokesperson system was established in the ministry back in 1983.

Fan Zhongyan from Wu County of Suzhou, courtesy name Xiwen (希文), ratified as the Duke of Wenzheng (文正公) posthumously, and conferred as Duke of Chu (楚國公) posthumously, was a Chinese poet, politician, philosopher, writer, military strategist, and one of the famous representative of Scholar-officials in ancient China. Fan was one of the most prominent figures of the Song dynasty, an era when China possessed the world’s largest economy and population. After serving the central government for several decades, Fan rose to a seat of Prime Minister or Chancellor over the entire Chinese empire nearing the zenith of its pre-modern economic, social, and cultural development. Fan's philosophical, educational and political legacy is one that changed the course of the Chinese history, one so powerful that it continues to exert a profound impact on the Chinese civilization today, and his philosophy and writings remain a core component of the Chinese literary canon. While Fan spent the majority of his time governing China, his myriad deeds and teachings, well represented by his well-known saying "Be the first to bear the world's hardship, and the last to enjoy its comfort" (先天下之憂而憂，後天下之樂而樂), have served as an inspiration to the Chinese people for a thousand years. Fan is one of the most prominent members of the Fan family and is considered a Saint in China by some, other Saints including the philosophers Confucius and Mencius.

Wang Ning is a Chinese politician currently serving as party secretary of Yunnan. He is an alternate member of the 19th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party.

Zhang Xianzhong, nicknamed Yellow Tiger, was a leader of a peasant revolt from Yan'an, Shaanxi Province. He conquered Sichuan in 1644, and named himself king and later emperor of the Xi dynasty. His rule in Sichuan was brief, and he was killed by the invading Qing army. He is commonly associated with the massacres in Sichuan that depopulated the region. However, the extent of his killings is disputed.

Mihrigul Tursun or Mehrigul Tursun, is a former Uyghur detainee in one of the re-education camps in Xinjiang, China. Tursun said that she was taken into custody several times, including at one of a network of political "re-education camps" and that one of her sons died under mysterious circumstances while she was in the custody of Chinese authorities in 2015. Hua Chunying of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China denied Tursun's allegations and gave the Ministry's own account of events.
