Katinka Hosszú is a Hungarian competitive swimmer specialized in individual medley events. She is a three-time Olympic champion and a nine-time long-course world champion. She is owner of a Budapest based swim school and swim club called Iron Swim Budapest, and co-owner and captain of Team Iron, founding member of the International Swimming League.

Zoltán Gera is a Hungarian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He played for Fulham, Pécsi Mecsek and Harkány SE, as well as enjoying two spells at Ferencváros and West Bromwich Albion.

Kató Lomb was a Hungarian interpreter, translator and one of the first simultaneous interpreters in the world. Originally she graduated in physics and chemistry, but her interest soon led her to languages. Native in Hungarian, she was able to interpret fluently in nine or ten languages, and she translated technical literature and read belles-lettres in six languages. She was able to understand journalism in further eleven languages. As she put it, altogether she earned money with sixteen languages. She learned these languages mostly by self-effort, as an autodidact. Her aims to acquire these languages were most of all practical, to satisfy her interest.

Dr. Bernadett Szél is a Hungarian economist and politician, and has been a member of the National Assembly (MP) since 2012. She was co-President of the Politics Can Be Different party from 2013 to 2018, and its candidate for the position of Prime Minister during the 2018 parliamentary election. Following internal conflicts, she resigned as co-chair in August 2018, and subsequently also left the party in October 2018.

Dezső Lauber was a Hungarian all-round sportsman and architect. He was born in Pécs and died in Budapest.

Wladimir Rudolf Karl Freiherr Giesl von Gieslingen was an Austro-Hungarian general and diplomat during World War I, most famous for delivering the ultimatum to the Serbian government during the July Crisis of 1914.

Ivan Kamaras is a Hungarian actor who became first known worldwide for his role as Agent Steel in the 2008 superhero fantasy thriller Hellboy II: The Golden Army, directed by Guillermo del Toro. Kamaras voices the title character in the 2018 Hungarian animated feature Ruben Brandt, Collector.

Imre Gyöngyössy was a Hungarian film director and screenwriter. His film The Revolt of Job (1983), which he co-directed with Barna Kabay, was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Gyöngyössy said that he intended the film "as a message not only between generations but between nations".

Pál Dárdai is a Hungarian retired footballer who played mainly as a defensive midfielder, and current coach of German club Hertha BSC.
