Prince Jean of Orléans, Duke of Guise, was the third son and youngest child of Prince Robert, Duke of Chartres (1840–1910), grandson of Prince Ferdinand Philippe and great-grandson of Louis Philippe I, King of the French. His mother was Françoise of Orléans, daughter of François, Prince of Joinville, and Princess Francisca of Brazil.

Richard Lioger is a French politician representing La République En Marche! He was elected to the French National Assembly on 18 June 2017, representing the department of Moselle.

Berthe Weill was a French art dealer who played a vital role in the creation of the market for twentieth-century art with the manifestation of the Parisian Avant-Garde. Although she is much less known than her well-established competitors like Ambroise Vollard, Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler and Paul Rosenberg, she may be credited with producing the first sales in Paris for Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse and with providing Amedeo Modigliani with the only solo exhibition in his lifetime.

He began his career in the 1990s with the group Contrast, with his cousin, Dr G-Kill. He started incorporating ragga music with the zouk style later in the 1990s, and has since recorded a number of albums and collaborated with Suprême N.T.M., Vybz Kartel, Shaggy, Bounty Killer, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Elephant Man.

André Valmy was a French film actor. He was born André Antoine Marius Dugenet in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. He appeared in 66 films between 1940 and 2001. He is also known in France to be the dubbed voice of Walter Matthau, Robert Shaw and George Kennedy.

Jeanne Boitel was a French film actress. She played a role in the Resistance during World War II, using the surname of Mozart. She met Jacques Jaujard during her resistance activities in the war, and married him.

Maurice Failevic was a French film director. A communist, he directed more than 50 films about class struggles, depicting the lives of members of the French working class, from peasants during the French Revolution to the unemployed, factory workers and banlieue dwellers in the 20th century. He directed films for cinema and television as well as documentaries.

Jean-Louis Chrétien was a French philosopher in the tradition of phenomenology, as well as a poet and religious thinker. Author of over thirty books, he was the 2012 winner of the Cardinal Lustiger Prize for his life’s work in philosophy. At his death, he was professor emeritus of philosophy at the Sorbonne.
