Michel Brunet
Michel Brunet is a French paleontologist and a professor at the Collège de France. In 2001 Brunet announced the discovery in Central Africa of the skull and jaw remains of a late Miocene hominid nicknamed Toumaï. These remains may predate the earliest previously known hominid remains, Lucy, by over three million years; however, this conclusion is the subject of a significant controversy.

Loleh Bellon
Marie Laure Viole Bellon, generally known as Loleh Bellon, (1925–1999) was a French stage and film actress as well as a playwright. In 1949, for her role in Robert Desnos' La Place de l'Étoile, she was awarded the Prix des Jeunes comédiens. She is remembered for her performances in Giraudoux' Judith and in Claudel's L'Annonce faite à Marie. Bellon was also a successful playwright, especially with Dames du jeudi (1976), Une absence (1988) and La Chambre d'amis (1995). For her play L'Éloignement (1987), she was awarded the Molière prize.

He was part of the 2008 IRB Junior World Championship playing for France playing 4 games and scoring 2 tries. He then played for Union Bordeaux Bègles in the 2007–08 Rugby Pro D2 season, playing 12 games and scoring 3 tries before being moving to Bayonne. He was selected for the French national team for the 2009 Autumn Internationals after his performances in the Top 14.
