Petter Næss
Petter Næss is a Norwegian actor and film director. His first film as a director was the comedy Absolutt blåmandag in 1999. Næss is best known for his work directing two of the three films about Ingvar Ambjørnsen's Elling character, Elling (2000), which was nominated for the foreign language film Oscar and Elsk meg i morgen, (2005), in addition to Bare Bea (2003), Mozart and the Whale (2005) and Hoppet in Sweden. In 2008 Næss portrayed the war hero Martin Linge in the movie Max Manus.
Jostein Hasselgård
Jostein Hasselgård was the winner of Norway's national pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest and he won Norway a fourth place in the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with the ballad "I'm Not Afraid To Move On".
Svein Støle
Svein Støle is a Norwegian businessperson and broker. After growing up in Mandal, he was educated in law and business administration. He worked for a period as a journalist for Kapital before in 1992 buying a large portion of Pareto Group, where he holds an 80.1% ownership. His fortune in 2009 was estimated at NOK 5.5 billion. In 2018 his fortune is believed to have grown to NOK 10 billion, and Støle is relocating to Switzerland.
Knut Arild Hareide
Knut Arild Hareide is a Norwegian politician who serves as a member of parliament from Hordaland and as the leader of the Christian Democratic Party from 2011 to 2019. He has served as Minister of Transport and Communications since 2020, and as Minister of the Environment from 2004 to 2005 in the second Bondevik cabinet. In 2007 he announced he would step down from the national political scene for the time being, but he returned when he was nominated as the top candidate for the Christian Democratic Party ticket in Akershus in the 2009 election where he won the county's leveling seat. After Dagfinn Høybråten stepped down as party leader, Hareide was unanimously elected to take his place at the 2011 party convention. In the 2013 election, Hareide was reelected to parliament, this time from his home county of Hordaland.

Knut Schreiner, is a Norwegian singer, musician and producer currently residing in Oslo. Also known by his stage name Euroboy, he has been part of important Norwegian bands like Kåre and The Cavemen known in its last years as Euroboys, with Turbonegro known in Norway as Turboneger, in the musical project Black Diamond Brigade and recently is a member of Mirror Lakes. He has also been in other musical projects and produced other bands, notably Euroboys, Amulet and The Lovethugs.
