Éric Buffetaut is a French paleontologist, author and researcher at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique since 1976 where he is a Doctor of Science and Director of Research. Buffetaut is a specialist of fossil archosaurs, mainly dinosaurs and pterosaurs, and has published many books on paleontology. He is one of the major paleontologists to support the thesis of the fall of a meteorite as the main cause of the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event.

Romain Hardy is a professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Arkéa–Samsic.

Pierre Legendre is a French historian of law and psychoanalyst. Legendre holds a position of research director at the École pratique des hautes études. His work is primarily devoted to the history of juristic institutions and concepts and to the anthropology of Western civilization.

Colette Marin-Catherine, is a French resistance fighter from Bretteville-l'Orgueilleuse. She joined the Resistance in the summer of 1944 where she was a reconnaissance agent and then a nurse after the Normandy landings; also resistant, her brother Jean-Pierre Catherine was arrested in 1943 and died in the Mittelbau-Dora concentration camp in 1945.

Bruno Thibout is a French former professional racing cyclist. He rode in three editions of the Tour de France, three editions of the Vuelta a España and two editions of the Giro d'Italia. Having ridden for the Castorama, Motorola and Cofidis teams, in retirement he has worked as a motorbike rider for the ASO during the Tour de France.
