Brandon Starc is an Australian high jumper. As a 16 year old he won a silver medal at the inaugural 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore with a +9cm personal best of 2.19m. Brandon won his first National Senior Athletics Championships title in 2012 with 2.28m, and was a finalist at the 2012 World Junior Athletics Championships, the 2014 Commonwealth Games, the 2015 World Athletics Championships, and the 2016 Summer Olympics. He won the Gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Starc currently trains in Sydney, Australia, under the tutelage of his coach Alex Stewart

Anthony "The Man" Mundine is an Australian professional boxer and former rugby league footballer. He has competed since 2000 in boxing and held the WBA super-middleweight title twice between 2003 and 2008, the IBO middleweight title from 2009 to 2010, and the WBA interim super-welterweight title from 2011 to 2012. Mundine is well known for his heated rivalries with fellow Australians Danny Green and Daniel Geale.

Sir Christopher Munro Clark is an Australian historian living in England and Germany. He is the twenty-second Regius Professor of History at the University of Cambridge. In 2015 he was knighted for his services to Anglo–German relations.

James Christopher Harrison, OAM, also known as the Man with the Golden Arm, is a blood plasma donor from Australia whose unusual plasma composition has been used to make a treatment for Rhesus disease. He has made over 1,000 donations throughout his lifetime, and these donations are estimated to have saved over 2.4 million babies from the condition. On 11 May 2018 he made his 1173rd donation – his last, as Australian policy prohibits blood donations from those past age 81.

Wayne Michael Gardner is an Australian former professional Grand Prix motorcycle and touring car racer. His most notable achievement was winning the 1987 500 cc Motorcycle World Championship, becoming the first Australian to win motorcycling's premier class. His success on the world motorcycle road racing circuit earned him the nickname The Wollongong Whiz. Both of Gardner's sons, Remy and Luca, are motorcycle racers.

Craig Dougall McLachlan is an Australian actor, musician, singer and composer. He has been involved in film, television, the music industry and music theatre for over 30 years. In 1960, Graeme Thorne, an 8-year-old Australian boy, was kidnapped and murdered for part of the money that his parents, Bazil Thorne and Freda Thorne, had won in an Opera House lottery. The crime, regarded as one of the most infamous in Australia's history, caused massive shock at the time and attracted huge public attention, and was the country's first well known kidnap for ransom. The police investigation that led to the capture and conviction of his murderer, an immigrant named Stephen Bradley, is often considered as pioneering, sophisticated, and the beginning of modern forensic investigation in Australia.
