Marjolein Kriek is a Dutch clinical geneticist at the Leiden University Medical Center. In 2008, at age 34, she became the first woman and probably the first European to have her total DNA genome sequenced.

Ellen ten Damme is a Dutch actress, performer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Ten Damme both sings and acts in four languages, and plays piano and keyboards, guitar and violin. During her school years Ellen was an enthusiastic gymnast, and incorporating some gymnastic tricks or even circus acts into her shows has become a trademark.

Ryan Henk Donk is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Turkish club Galatasaray. He can also play as a centre back.

Steven Kruijswijk is a Dutch road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Team Jumbo–Visma. Kruijswijk is best known for his strong ability in the mountains where he has taken his greatest success.

Willem Bijkerk, known professionally as Waylon, is a Dutch singer from Apeldoorn. His stage name came from the name of his idol Waylon Jennings. He represented the Netherlands with Ilse DeLange as The Common Linnets at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, finishing in second place in the final. He performed in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 and finished in 18th place.

Pope Adrian VI, born Adriaan Florensz Boeyens, was head of the Catholic Church and ruler of the Papal States from 9 January 1522 until his death on 14 September 1523. The only Dutchman so far to become pope, he was the last non-Italian pope until Polish John Paul II, 455 years later.
