Oleksiy Viktorovych Sereda is a Ukrainian diver. He is the 2019 European champion in the 10 metre platform event.

Hennadiy Zubko is a Ukrainian politician. Since 2 December 2014, he has been a Deputy Prime Minister — Minister for Regional Development, Construction and Housing, serving in the second Yatsenyuk Government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk and in the Groysman Government of Volodymyr Groysman.

Arthur Bernard Deacon (1903-1927) was a social anthropologist who carried out fieldwork on the islands of Malakula and Ambrym in what is now Vanuatu.

Valeriy Pavlovych Pustovoitenko was confirmed as prime minister of Ukraine on 16 July 1997. Pustovoitenko was Ukraine's eighth prime minister. He resigned in connection with Leonid Kuchma's re-election for a new term. He is a former leader of the People's Democratic Party of Ukraine.

Yuri Pavlovich Gidzenko is a Russian cosmonaut. He was a test cosmonaut of the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center (TsPK). Gidzenko has flown into space three times and has lived on board the Mir and the International Space Station. He has also conducted two career spacewalks. Although he retired on July 15, 2001, he continued his employment by a special contract until Soyuz TM-34 concluded. Since 2004 to May 2009, Gidzenko was the Director of the 3rd department within the TsPK. Since May 2009 he serves as the Deputy Chief of Cosmonaut Training Center TsPK.
