Milton Steven Pappas was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball as a right-handed pitcher from 1957 through 1973. Nicknamed "Gimpy", the 17-year veteran pitched for the Baltimore Orioles (1957–1965), Cincinnati Reds (1966–1968), Atlanta Braves (1968–1970) and Chicago Cubs (1970–1973). A control specialist, Pappas pitched in 520 games, starting 465, with 209 wins, 164 losses, 43 shutouts, 1,728 strikeouts and a 3.40 ERA in 3,186 innings pitched. He was a three-time All-Star player for the Orioles and was inducted into the Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame in 1985.

Deborah Ann Greer Stabenow is an American politician serving as the senior United States Senator from Michigan, a seat she was first elected to in 2000. A member of the Democratic Party, she became the state's first female U.S. Senator after defeating Republican incumbent Spencer Abraham. Before her election to the Senate, she was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Michigan's 8th congressional district (1997–2001). Previously she served on the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and in the Michigan State Legislature.

For his 14 surgical procedures towards that goal, he held a world record for "most permanent transformations to look like an animal." "Stalking Cat" was his chosen name.

Timothy Joseph Kane is an American economist, currently serving as a research fellow at the Hoover Institution. He is a former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer with two overseas tours of duty. After leaving the service, Kane founded multiple technology firms while pursuing a Ph.D. in economics. After briefly working as a professor of economics, Kane served on the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress and was Director of the Center for International Trade and Economics at the Heritage Foundation. Kane was the lead editor of the 2007 Index of Economic Freedom, co-published by The Wall Street Journal and the Heritage Foundation, and is the author of the book Bleeding Talent: How the U.S. Military Mismanages Great Leaders and Why It's Time for a Revolution. Kane co-authored the book, Balance: The Economics of Great Powers from Ancient Rome to Modern America with Glenn Hubbard.

Ivan Frederick Boesky is a former American stock trader who became infamous for his prominent role in an insider trading scandal that occurred in the United States during the mid-1980s. He was charged and pled guilty to insider trading, was fined a record $100 million and became an informant.

Jesse Binga was a prominent American businessman who founded the first privately owned African-American bank in Chicago. He was a notable pioneer of African American business achievement in the early 20th century. Binga recalled coming to Chicago in the 1890s with $10 in his pocket. By the 1920s he was a bank president and major real estate owner. Unwilling to conform to de facto, private real-estate segregation, white real estate interests sometimes opposed him violently. After his bank failed in the Great Depression, Binga was eventually charged with embezzlement, a controversial prosecution in the African American community. Protests and public petitions helped lead to his early release. He was granted a full pardon in 1941.

Willie Kordell Green is an American former professional basketball player who is an assistant coach with the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). During his professional career, Green played in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers, New Orleans Hornets, Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Clippers and Orlando Magic. He was selected in the second round of the 2003 NBA draft by the Seattle SuperSonics and later acquired by the Philadelphia 76ers from Seattle in a draft-night trade for the draft rights to Paccelis Morlende and cash considerations.
