Jermell De'Avante Charlo is an American professional boxer. He is currently a unified light middleweight world champion, having held the WBC title since 2019, and the WBA (Super), IBF and Ring magazine titles since September 2020. His identical twin brother, Jermall Charlo, is also a professional boxer and world champion. In 2017, Jermell was ranked as the world's best active light middleweight by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board (TBRB). As of April 2020, he is ranked as the world's best active light middleweight by both BoxRec and The Ring magazine, and ranked fourth in the world by the TBRB.
