Abraham David Beame was the 104th Mayor of New York City from 1974 to 1977. As mayor, he presided over the city during its fiscal crisis of the mid-1970s, when the city was almost forced to declare bankruptcy.

Maha Senanurak was a Viceroy appointed by Buddha Loetla Nabhalai as the titular heir to the throne was the brother to the king. Maha Senanurak was known for his leadership of the Siamese campaign against the Burmese invasion of Thalang in 1809.

Kunihiko Kodaira was a Japanese mathematician known for distinguished work in algebraic geometry and the theory of complex manifolds, and as the founder of the Japanese school of algebraic geometers. He was awarded a Fields Medal in 1954, being the first Japanese national to receive this honour.

Alfred Böhm was an Austrian actor and director. He was the brother of fellow actors Franz Böheim and Carlo Böhm. He was known for directing the film Die Orchesterprobe, and acting in Patient aus Leidenschaft and Herr im Haus bin ich.
