Karel Sadsuit Tubun was an Indonesian police officer who is now regarded as a National Hero of Indonesia. He was killed while on duty as a guard in the neighborhood where one of the abductions of 30 September Movement took place. He was promoted posthumously to the rank of Police Second Sub-inspector. The Indonesian frigate KRI Karel Satsuit Tubun is named after him.

Manahati Lestusen is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays for and captains Liga 1 club TIRA-Persikabo, and the Indonesia national team. A versatile defensive player, Lestusen has been deployed as a defensive midfielder, a centre back and a right back.

Albertina Ho SH, MH is a career woman judge at the General Court under the Supreme Court of Indonesia. Albertina became known publicly when she became chairwoman of the presiding judge bribery tax official Gayus Tambunan at the South Jakarta District Court. Because of persistence, rigor and seriousness as female judges, Albertina Ho earned the nickname "Srikandi Hukum" by some.

Cynthia Tuwankotta is a former Indonesian badminton player who later represented Switzerland. Tuwankotta started playing badminton at aged six, and she won the junior title at her hometown Maluku when she was ten. She then selected to join Indonesia national team in 1994, and was part of the team for 6 years. In 2000, she moved to Switzerland and was part of the national team from 2000–2009. In her career, the Ambon born player was ranked 6 in the women's doubles world ranking. Tuwankotta competed for Indonesia at the 2000 Summer Olympics in the women's doubles event partnered with Etty Tantri. After retiring from the badminton tournament, she became a badminton coach in Switzerland and France, and also found a Tuwankotta's Badminton Coaches and Tour in Indonesia.

Said Assagaff is an Indonesian politician from the Maluku Islands. He served as the governor of Maluku province for the 2014–2019 term, having been elected to the office immediately after his tenure as the vice governor. Under his administration, efforts were taken to promote the province as a tourism hub.

Listyo Sigit Prabowo, sometimes referred by his initials LSP, is an Indonesian Police-General, who is currently the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri). He was previously the Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim), and was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo as new National Police Chief on 27 January 2021.
