Irina Igorevna Poltoratskaya is a Russian team handball player, playing on the Russian women's national handball team. She won gold medal with the Russian winning team in the 2005 World Women's Handball Championship in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and again in the 2007 World Women's Handball Championship in France.

Alexander Nikolayevich Zelin served as Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Air Force from 9 May 2007 until 27 April 2012. Zelin holds the Air Force rank of colonel-general. Since May 2012 Zelin has been an adviser to the Russian Defence Minister.

Igors Rausis is a retired chess player. He was awarded the title of Grandmaster by FIDE in 1992 and won the Latvian Chess Championship in 1995. He represented Bangladesh from 2003 to 2007, when he switched to the Czech Republic. In July 2019, Rausis was caught cheating in a Strasbourg tournament, after which he admitted to the transgression and announced his immediate retirement from chess. The Czech Chess Federation subsequently cancelled his membership, and the FIDE Ethics Commission stripped him of his Grandmaster title and gave him a 6 year ban. Before this, he was the oldest player ranked among FIDE's top 100 players.

Artem Sergiyovich Pochtarev is a Ukrainian badminton player. His current partner for men's doubles is Gennadiy Natarov. Pochtarev competed in 2015 BWF World Championships, where he was defeated by Sho Sasaki in the first round.

Elena Vladimirovna Prus is a Ukrainian badminton player. Prus works as a coach in Badminton Kharkiv.
