Maximilian Karl Otto von Herff was a German senior SS commander during the Nazi era. He served as head of the SS Personnel Main Office from 1942 to 1945.
Otto Schultze
Otto Schultze was a Generaladmiral with the Kriegsmarine during World War II and a recipient of the Pour le Mérite during World War I. The Pour le Mérite was the Kingdom of Prussia's highest military order for German soldiers until the end of World War I. As a U-boat commander during World War I, he was credited with the sinking of 53 merchant ships for a total of 132,567 gross register tons, and HMS Falmouth of 5,275 long tons (5,360 t) displacement.
Lucy Redler
Lucy Redler is a German politician, Socialist Alternative activist, and member of the Left Party. From 2005 to 2007, Redler served on the executive committee of the Berlin section of the Labor and Social Justice List (WASG), and she was its chief candidate in the 2006 Berlin state elections. Hans Georg Calmeyer was a German lawyer from Osnabrück who allegedly saved thousands of Jews from certain death during the German occupation of the Netherlands from 1941 until 1945. On 4 March 1992 Yad Vashem recognized Hans Calmeyer as Righteous Among the Nations. As of 2020, historians at Yad Vashem are presently looking into newly uncovered evidence suggesting that Calmeyer also helped send more than 500 people directly into death camps during the Dutch occupation.
