Tanit Phoenix is a South African fashion model, actress and makeup artist. She is known for her swimwear and lingerie photo shoots after appearing in a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2003 and in GQ magazine and FHM in the same year.

Marc David Polmans is a South African-born Australian tennis player. Polmans won the 2015 Australian Open – Boys' Doubles title with fellow Australian Jake Delaney, defeating Hubert Hurkacz and Alex Molčan in the final, 0–6, 6–2, [10–8]. He reached the semi-final of the 2017 Australian Open – Men's Doubles with Andrew Whittington.

Mpande kaSenzangakhona was monarch of the Zulu Kingdom from 1840 to 1872. He was a half-brother of Sigujana, Shaka and Dingane, who preceded him as Zulu kings. He came to power after he had overthrown Dingane in 1840.

Sir Frederick Charles Frank, OBE, FRS, known as Sir Charles Frank, was a British theoretical physicist. He is best known for his work on crystal dislocations, including the idea of the Frank–Read source of dislocations. He also proposed the cyclol reaction in the mid-1930s, and made many other contributions to solid-state physics, geophysics, and the theory of liquid crystals.
