John II Casimir was King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1648 until his abdication in 1668 as well as titular King of Sweden from 1648 until 1660. He was the second son of Sigismund III Vasa and Constance of Austria. His older brother and predecessor on the throne was Władysław IV Vasa.

Josef Casimir Hofmann was a Polish American pianist, composer, music teacher, and inventor.

Tomasz Kuklicz, known professionally as DJ Tomekk, is a Polish-born German-based hip hop DJ and record producer. Rappers who have featured in his songs include Ice-T, Fatman Scoop, Khia, Xzibit, Fler, Sido, Kurupt, Lil' Kim, KRS-One, Torch, Afrob, Flavor Flav, and GZA.

Adam Stanisław Krasiński (1714–1800) was a Polish noble of Ślepowron coat of arms, bishop of Kamieniec (1757–1798), Great Crown Secretary, president of the Crown Tribunal in 1759 and one of the leaders of Bar Confederation (1768–1772).

Dorota Siudek is a Polish retired pair skater who is now a coach. Her partner and husband is Mariusz Siudek. They are the 1999 World bronze medalists, two-time European silver medalists and two-time European bronze medalists. They were the first Polish pair to medal at the World Championships.

Władysław Łuszczkiewicz was a Polish historical painter of the late Romantic era from Kraków, active in the period of the foreign partitions of Poland. He was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts and served as its principal in 1893/95. One of his best students was Jan Matejko, the eminent Polish historical painter and later, his close associate. Łuszczkiewicz taught painting, drawing, anatomy and architectural styles. Highly educated, he also worked as conservator of architectural monuments in the city later on in his career, and wrote historical dissertations.

Jerzy Miller is a Polish politician. He served as Minister of Interior Affairs in the government of Donald Tusk from 14 October 2009 to 18 November 2011. He succeeded Grzegorz Schetyna in the post. Miller is officially independent, but was endorsed by the Civic Platform.
