Ippolito de' Medici was the only son of Giuliano di Lorenzo de' Medici, born out-of-wedlock to his mistress Pacifica Brandano.

Marcus Aemilius Scaurus was a Roman statesman who served as consul in 115 BC. He was also a long-standing princeps senatus, occupying the post from 115 until his death in 89, and as such was widely considered one of the most prestigious and influential politicians of the Late Republic.

Lorenzo Natali Pierucci Bondicchi was an Italian politician for Christian Democracy, and a European Commissioner from 1977 to 1989.

Pier Luigi Bersani is an Italian politician and was Secretary of the Democratic Party (PD), Italy's leading centre-left party, from 2009 to 2013. Bersani was Minister of Industry, Commerce and Craftmanship from 1996 to 1999, Minister of Transport from 1999 to 2001, and Minister of Economic Development from 2006 to 2008.

Rembrandt Bugatti was an Italian sculptor, known primarily for his bronze sculptures of wildlife subjects. During World War I, he volunteered for paramedical work at a military hospital in Antwerp, an experience that triggered in Bugatti the onset of depression, aggravated by financial problems, which eventually caused him to commit suicide on 8 January 1916 in Paris, France. He was 31 years old.

Gina Elena Zefora Lombroso was an Italian physician, writer, psychiatrist, and criminologist, best remembered for her uncredited writings on the subjects of criminology and psychiatry co-authored with her father Cesare Lombroso, her individual writings on the female condition and industrialisation. She was the wife of Italian historian and writer Guglielmo Ferrero (1871-1942) and hence adopted the surname Ferrero-Lombroso. Their son Leo Ferrero (1903-1933), a writer and playwright, died in a car accident in Santa Fe (USA). All three are buried at the Cimetière des Rois in Geneva, Switzerland.

Gaetano Gifuni was an Italian civil servant and politician who served as Secretary General of the President from 1992 to 2006 and as Minister for Parliamentary Relations in 1987.
