Rosa Maltoni was the mother of Italian Fascist founder and leader Benito Mussolini, the mother-in-law of Rachele Mussolini and the paternal grandmother of Bruno Mussolini, Edda Mussolini, Romano Mussolini, and Vittorio Mussolini. Maltoni was a Catholic schoolteacher who married Alessandro Mussolini. After Benito, Rosa had three more children, Arnaldo, Laura, and Edvige. She died of meningitis in 1905.

Giorgio Gaber, byname of Giorgio Gaberscik, was an Italian singer, composer, actor, and playwright. He was also an accomplished guitar player and author of one of the first rock songs in Italian. With Sandro Luporini, he pioneered the musical genre known as teatro canzone.

Count Giannino Marzotto was an Italian racing driver and entrepreneur. Marzotto served as President of the Mille Miglia Club, and twice winner of race in 1950 and 1953.

Filippo Strozzi the Younger was a Florentine banker, and the most famous member of the Strozzi family in the Renaissance. He is best remembered as a tragic hero and defender of the lost Florentine republic against the Medici dukes – yet this is almost entirely a nineteenth-century fiction of nationalist historians and dramatists. He had been one of the staunchest supporters of the Medici in Florence and Rome.
