Sandra Sabattini was an Italian Roman Catholic and a member of the Associazione Comunità Papa Giovanni XXIII. Sabattini first joined the association after meeting its founder Oreste Benzi in her late childhood and began to work alongside drug addicts and ill people with the dream of becoming part of the medical missions in Africa. It was later on that she became engaged but her life was cut short after being run over in a car accident while going to attend a meeting of the association near Rimini.

Gian Franco Corsi Zeffirelli, commonly known as Franco Zeffirelli, was an Italian director and producer of operas, films and television. He was also a senator from 1994 until 2001 for the Italian centre-right Forza Italia party.

Clare of Assisi is an Italian saint and one of the first followers of Francis of Assisi. She founded the Order of Poor Ladies, a monastic religious order for women in the Franciscan tradition, and wrote their Rule of Life, the first set of monastic guidelines known to have been written by a woman. Following her death, the order she founded was renamed in her honour as the Order of Saint Clare, commonly referred to today as the Poor Clares. Her feast day is on 11 August.

He fled Italy first to France and then to Mexico before settling in Brazil where he lived as a free man until an order of extradition issued in December 2018. He then fled to Santa Cruz in Bolivia, where he was arrested in 2019 by an Italian team of Interpol and extradited to Italy where is currently under arrest. He is also a fiction author, having written 15 novels.
