Sanjay Singh is an Indian politician, serving as the Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from Delhi, since 2018. He is the national spokesperson for the Aam Aadmi Party and the state-in-charge for Uttar Pradesh, Orissa and Rajasthan. Singh has been a senior leader of the party since its inception in November 2012, and is a member of the party's foremost decision-making body, the Political Affairs Committee (PAC). Singh comes from a humble background, a proof of which was noticed when he had no income, assets or property when he filed for the nominations of the Rajya Sabha.

He represented Bengal cricket team. He was also a player in the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Daredevils, and the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He participated in the 800 metres event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. In 2018 Commonwealth Games he finished fifth setting a new national record in the 1500 metres race by breaking 23 year old record of Bahadur Prasad. Later in 2018, he went on to win the gold medal in the men's 1500m at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia with a timing of 3:44.72 in the final event, as well as a silver medal in 800 metres.
