Her debut show was Ilamai Pudhumai on Sun TV followed by Comedy Time, in which she appeared along with Chitti Babu on the same channel. Then she hosted many shows across various television channels. In 2016, she appeared as a judge of the comedy show Junior Super Star along with K. Bhagyaraj and Khushbu. As of 2019, Archana was hosting season 2 of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors, which is the music reality show in Zee Tamil. In 2020, Archana entered Bigg Boss as a wildcard contestant. She is also known as "Love-bed Gang Leader" and recieved negativity for abusing Aari and for being fake.

Prannoy Lal Roy is an Indian journalist and psephologist, who is the co-founder and executive co-chairperson of New Delhi Television (NDTV) along with his wife Radhika Roy. He won the Red Ink award by Mumbai Press Club for lifetime achievement for his consistent and pioneering contribution to news television and his service to journalism in 2015.
