Noriko Eguchi is a Japanese film and television actress. She became a student in the theater troupe Tokyo Kandenchi in 2000, and made her film debut in 2002 with Takashi Miike's Shangri-La. She had her first starring role in Yuki Tanada's Moon and Cherry in 2004.

Tarō Yamamoto is a Japanese politician and former actor, who is the founder and current leader of the anti-establishment political party Reiwa Shinsengumi. Yamamoto served as a member of the House of Councillors from 2013 to 2019 and was a candidate in the 2020 Tokyo gubernatorial election.

The Kobe child murders occurred in Kobe, Japan, on March 16 and May 27, 1997. Two victims, Ayaka Yamashita , age 10, and Jun Hase , age 11, were murdered by a 14-year-old boy reportedly named Shinichiro Azuma , under the alias Seito Sakakibara .

Masahiro Tanaka is a Japanese professional baseball player for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles of the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). From 2007 through 2013, he played for the Eagles in NPB. Tanaka was posted by the Eagles after the 2013 season to be signed with the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball (MLB) and signed a seven-year, $155 million contract, the fifth-largest deal ever given to a pitcher at the time. He made his major league debut in 2014 and played for the Yankees through the 2020 season, before deciding to return to Japan.

Yuriko Koike
Yuriko Koike is a Japanese politician who currently serves as the Governor of Tokyo. She graduated from Cairo University as the top student in 1976 and was a member of the House of Representatives of Japan from 1993 to 2016, and was previously the Minister of Defense in the cabinet of Prime Minister Shinzō Abe, but resigned in August 2007 after only 54 days in office. On 31 July 2016, Koike was elected Governor of Tokyo, the city's first female Governor. Koike was re-elected Governor of Tokyo on 5 July 2020 in a landslide, winning 59.7% of the vote.

She was the youngest lead actress in a television serial drama by appearing in the serial drama Marumo no Okite in the spring of 2011.
